Enrichment
An Arts and Theatre enrichment program is offered for our students from. The specially designed program provides active learning experiences for students and integrates essential skills like communication and social interaction for our students.
TEACCH emphasizes individualized support based on each student’s strengths, needs, and interests. It aims to help individuals with ASD develop skills and strategies to navigate daily life, manage challenges, and participate more fully in their classrooms. A key component of TEACCH is Structured TEACCHing, which utilizes visual supports and environmental organization to create predictable and understandable learning environments. This approach helps individuals with ASD manage transitions, improve communication, and enhance their ability to learn and function independently.
Fundations
Fundations primary focus is developing essential foundational skills that are critical for reading and writing. It emphasizes phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling through a systematic, explicit, and cumulative approach. Fundations also incorporates handwriting and vocabulary development. It employs a multisensory, multimodal approach to teaching foundational skills, engaging students through various senses and learning styles.
AbLLS-R
The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills - Revised (ABLLS-R) is a tool used to assess and guide the development of basic language and learning skills, particularly for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. It serves as both an assessment tool and a curriculum guide, helping educators and therapists identify skill deficits and create individualized educational programs.
Go Math
Go Math! is a comprehensive K-2 Math Curriculum that includes resources for special education. It offers differentiated instruction, adaptive practice, and intervention tools to support students with diverse learning needs, including those in special education. The program utilizes the 5E instructional model and incorporates features like scaffolded workspaces, fewer problems per page, and explicit instruction to make it accessible for all students.
Readtopia Go
ReadtopiaGO is a comprehensive, research-based, and inclusive literacy curriculum designed to support the literacy development of young children, particularly those with complex learning needs, through engaging, differentiated, and play-based learning experiences.
SMILE
The "SMiLE" reading program, is a multi-sensory program designed to teach speech, reading, and writing to individuals with severe language and literacy disabilities. It uses a step-by-step, structured approach, incorporating verbal and visual elements to help students learn spoken and written language, including phonics, word building, reading comprehension, and sentence structure.
